It surprised me that I had a post on Darren not too long ago, despite how long it's been since I've heard or seen from him. Recently, I bumped into him at Serangoon MRT station. He said hello to me, else I wouldn't have realised, and in that split second I realised that despite all the hate I had and all the anger that was built up had subsided. James explained a few incidents that occurred to Darren, and how it brought him to where he is today, and asked if I pitied him. It's true - time heals all wounds. Yesterday, June sent an email to the 29th to ask if they'd be free to attend Joseph's birthday party (Don't worry June, he won't find out about his surprise birthday party through my blog). Then, instead of politely declining, Sebastian replied "that day is already reserved for council event. whether for joseph or lester. so, we just need to confirm all the details. =D"
I might not be the most updated person regarding outings, but in terms of council outings, I would think that they would have at least mentioned it in gmail, and yes, I do read my gmail. So what's this special outing for Lester? Oh, ok, apparently it was his parade.
So I assumed it was the "invited-only" people that were going. But to call it a council outing, and to tell it to June who is trying to create a birthday surprise for ANOTHER of our council friends, aren't you being a little too much?
Perhaps I was being over-sensitive. Then later Ren Kai came with an email, saying, "it's a weekday for NSFs". You know, Ren Kai, thanks very much for telling June that you PRACTICALLY DIDN'T READ THE DETAILS THAT THE BIRTHDAY WAS ON A SATURDAY. Unless army has clearly made you unable to differentiate between a weekend and a weekday.
Then I talked to Wei Hao, and I realized how much effort he's been putting in to keep his promise of ever-lasting friendship with the 29th. And you know, it's funny how this reciprocity works, because it seems pretty one-sided to me.
Honestly, 29th SC, you disappoint me. You announce to the world how happy you are when seniors tell us that we are a super bonded council. Just who were they looking at? The 29th Council? Or the Council Clique?

29th Christmas Party over at Jo'An's place today. TELL YOU SOMETHING REALLY FUNNY THAT HAPPENED. We were playing Taboo, so the word was Diving, so Bing Liang said,

CORALSINTHEOCEAN IS BACK TO THE SEASHELLS TEMPLATE! (: Okay initially I was thinking of another template, but I switched to this instead. I thought a calming and peaceful background would make me feel less stress as the workload builds up over the next few weeks in school. Besides, I like the oceanic idea better than the sky view =p
Speaking of stress earlier, yah I've made the most amazing discovery this week of a strand of white hair on my head! So don't question how stressful university life is, let the evidence show.
That's the 29th at Germaine's birthday by the way (:
I'm really sorry to the poor girl who had to give me a kiss on the cheek
Nevertheless, I had fun playing four rounds of taboo

She'll never believe me, but thank you anyway for letting me off on the last day of LTC camp. Thank you Ms Chiew.

So there I was typing back to Jillian.

And I hadn't even typed finished when Hui Xiang peeked over and went,

After lunch, a group of people ranging from eighteen to twenty-three years old went over to Sylvia's house to chill. Got to know new UNCLES cum seniors, hee. Anyway, I haven't received all my photographs from Taiwan (I'm left with Connie's collection), but I'll blog about my trip as soon as I've received them. Til then, I'm back to Puzzling! Welfare Committee of the 29th and the 30th met up yesterday at Sakura Restaurant at Far East. No, it's not the Japanese Sakura, it's some Thai version, but I must admit the atmosphere there was just good enough for an outing.
Meeting with the Welfare Committee was something I never expected upon stepping down from Council, much less meeting with the 30th. And guess what? The outing clashed with my Airport Guides last minute Taiwan Trip planning, so guess what those mischieviouslittle people did to me? They kidnapped me -.-" Forced me to take many many pictures with a smile on my face in their cameras. And of all things, everyone seemed to be whipping up a better model of each camera as the number of photographs progressed. Unfortunately, my dear boss Qi Xiang who's taken almost all the photographs intelligently booked into camp without leaving the photographs with anyone of us, so I can't post them here ):
After a long while, I was set free to flee to my airport friends (: That'll be Abigail, Szeming, Connie and Yong Sheng. Joel is sadly busy with his charity stuff I think. Anyway, the 30th gave me the above before I left, don't you think they're such sweeties? (: I think they'll make great boyfriends and girlfriends in future, OMG, thank you 30th welfare (:
We have conveniently appointed Connie the leader, since she's in charge of everything; Abigail the Safety I/C, since she's always worried about everything; and Yong Sheng the Accomodation I/C, since he's the one with the debit card (ie. he's I/C by default).
Spent today at Sentosa with Annaling. I'm super sad, and so is she. Piangs, what kind of standard are those guys man. I've walked an entire beach to see.. many many things but cute guys or girls. I can't even be Lesbian even if I wanted to ): Like, we only saw two or three cute guys in total? That's not even including those at the hunks and babes panel. At least I spent a day with Annaling (: That's good enough (: Hee.

After chilling out at Ben & Jerry's, June and I went over to GV to watch Kungfu Panda! Guess who I saw sitting in the same row as me? Lol, you'd never guess anyway, so it's JoshuaSng, the guy who went on the Turkey trip. Small world I tell you. The show was good too anyway - laughed the entire time.
June and I popped by at Candy Empire (like always), and guess whofound us heard me there? Xuewei (:
Anyway, I've been seeing this commercial twice and I think it's super cute and funny =P

That was what JonathanGoh used to call me in JC.
Speaking of blue, that reminds me. Last week back at Investiture, both Annaling and I carried a Pink bag back, so there was this random bag left on the table.
Since we're on the topic of blue, I felt I better say something before JonathanGoh goes on about pursuing dreams. You know how they always say you should follow your dream, work hard and study what brings you to your dream job? Everyone asks me if Business is really something I want, and I can tell you very frankly and honestly, no. Deep deep down inside, the truth is that I always had passion for marine biology, which would, well therefore explain again the CORALSINTHEOCEAN. I really wanted very much to study the ocean, take up oceanography, or maybe some marine science module in university, whichever brought me to my destination.
But I can tell you that as much as I want to very much, two pracical factors have been my barrier from pursuing such a dream. The first barrier would be the very fact that the Singapore environment doesn't support the career in oceanography, except maybe in Pulau Ubin, St John Island, etc. That'll mean travelling to another foreign country for my source of income, and as we all already know, Katrina cannot live overseas, because she will die of the weather and climate (NO JOKE). And then there's another reason, because my hand allergy does not permit me to pursue science as a profession, and I've learnt that quite some time ago. I don't have steady fingers to handle equipment, nor do I have the patience to repeatedly conduct experiments to either prove myself right or wrong.
Since Science is out and Arts isn't my thing, the next best alternative was business. Although I must add, I must thank Adrian alot for introducing the idea of Business and Finance in my mind. If it wasn't for him, I definitely won't be the least bit interested in Business.
Just to add a little to this entry to make it less BLUE, I met up with the 29th to celebrate Jo'An's birthday at Swensens in Vivo. Had a great chat with them, as always (: Can't wait to meet up with them next Saturday (:

Happy 2nd Birthday 29th ((:
After work, I met up with Yong Sheng and Joel first. Joel's replacing Qian Wei for the Taiwan trip. He's Yong Sheng's Marist classmate, and my Nanyang JC senior! (: Small world eh? Taking to him was indeed an eye-opener to what nyjc was during his time.
The rest of us met up later when Joel had left at KFC for dinner before proceeding to discuss and plan for our Taiwan trip. We had to move over to MacDonalds for the internet though. Nevertheless, I had a great time chatting and finding information with them, lol.
Took a train over down to Serangoon, where my initial intention was to board a bus near Yong Sheng's house to get home. So we walked and talked alot on the way to his house. His house was like, SUPER FAR from the MRT lah, I can't believe he bothers to WALK. But before we reached the bus stop in front of his house, he just said, "Since we're already near my house, I can drive you home." Alright man! Boarded the car, and VROOM, we drove off to my house, yay! ((: For an P plate, he's quite a good driver =P

Yesterday evening was spent well with Yong Sheng and Sze Ming.
"[sm] Ok i can too! So we meet 6 for dinner? Or 630?"

must give time for sm to be late"
And mind you, she only SMSed us to push back the timing at 5.45pm, when Yong Sheng and I were already out of the house. But really, "we're sorry Sze Ming, we should have SMSed you at 4pm to confirm that you wanted to push back the time. It's all our fault. We should also have ordered the food earlier since you were late. Our fault too." =P I know, we're both so evil to her. But dinner was okay only lah, we ate at Cartel. We not only eat alot when we're with each other, we eat expensive =X
We watched WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, and yes, it was a movie worth watching, because the three of us were laughing non-stop! Abit hungry, but I can't blame Sze Ming for being late so we couldn't get popcorn or drinks? ;) LOL. Good day with them nevertheless, as always ((:

Drillbit Taylor was good! (: Sat beside Shuen Lin, and I was quite surprised to hear her laugh in the middle of the movie. Xue Wei sat on my left too, and she just randomly shouted something in the movie. Lester was busy drinking up all my Ice Lemon Tea.
Otherwise, much of the day was spent photo-taking with the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st. There was this super cute photograph where we had the four batches together, so when they asked what should we shout, Lester said, "All shout our batch name, see who shout louder." ;)
I wish to talk more, but let me spam this entry with photographs instead. Anyway Xue Wei and Lester complained about how grandmother-story-like my blog was =P

We watched WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS, and yes, it was a movie worth watching, because the three of us were laughing non-stop! Abit hungry, but I can't blame Sze Ming for being late so we couldn't get popcorn or drinks? ;) LOL. Good day with them nevertheless, as always ((:
Timeline for today:
10am - breakfast at Serangoon Macs
11.30am - 31st Investiture
1 pm - mingling with the juniors
3 pm - lunch at far east
5 pm - Gelare
6 pm - shopping
7 pm - DRILLBIT TAYLOR
Drillbit Taylor was good! (: Sat beside Shuen Lin, and I was quite surprised to hear her laugh in the middle of the movie. Xue Wei sat on my left too, and she just randomly shouted something in the movie. Lester was busy drinking up all my Ice Lemon Tea.
Otherwise, much of the day was spent photo-taking with the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st. There was this super cute photograph where we had the four batches together, so when they asked what should we shout, Lester said, "All shout our batch name, see who shout louder." ;)
I wish to talk more, but let me spam this entry with photographs instead. Anyway Xue Wei and Lester complained about how grandmother-story-like my blog was =P
